Marathi Bhadrapad Mahina in 2015 – Bhadra Month in Hindu Maharashtra Calendar in 2015

Bhadrapad Mahina is the sixth month in a traditional Hindu Marathi calendar followed in Maharashtra. Bhadra Month 2015 in Marathi calendar is from September 14 to October 12. Ganesh Chaturthi (September 17, 2015), the most important festival in a Marathi calendar, is held in this month. The Krishna Paksha period of the month is also highly auspicious and staunch Hindus perform Shradh and Tarpan for dead ancestors, parents and relatives during the Mahalya period (September 28 to October 12). Other important festivals and auspicious days include Hartalika Tritiya, Rishi Panchami, Jyeshta Gauri Puja and Anant Chaturdasi.

Bhadrapad Maas 2015 Krishna Paksha (Waning phase of moon) is from September 28, 2015 to October 12, 2015. This is the Mahalya Shradh period.
